THE HINOKI HOUSE

Drawing significant inspiration from Japanese architecture, the Hinoki House incorporates light-colored wood, vertical slats, cool-toned stone cladding, and oriental landscaping. The distinctive slim, elongated roofing serves not only as a striking aesthetic feature, but also as an added means of protection against the elements. The interior of the house is thoughtfully adorned with light veneer, arranged in a grid-pattern configuration, which pays homage to the traditional Shoji screens, adding a contemporary Japanese touch to the home.
